Brief Description: The former Electronic Data Systems site, now HP Enterprise Services (owned by Hewlett-Packard) required a complicated retrofit of its 5-cell 5,850-ton cooling tower. An all-stainless steel Marley NC Crossflow Cooling Tower was selected by the design-build contractor for its overall quality and the efforts of McMillan James to comply with the project requirements. Custom ladders and handral configurations were provided to match exitsing requirements and field provided walkways between the split-cell configuration. The existing structural supports required custom, non-uniform anchorage spacing for the tower basin.
