Brief Description: The new Residential Commons at SMU will feature five (5) residential buildings and space for 1,250 students.   It includes a a dining commons and parking garage (where the central plant is located).  The design and construction team chose PACO vertical in-line pumps for the central plant for their efficiency and small footprint.  A Grundfos BoosterpaQ provides domestic boosting, while Mueller Heat Exchangers and Grudnfos circulators and sump complete the plumbing pumping systems.  Nexus Valve auto-flow packages provided balanced water flow to the 1,000+ coils.
