The engineer was allowed to design the field using a significant amount of diversity based on the packaged pump skid and advanced control algorithms. ConsERV energy recovery units temper the outside ventilation air recovering energy from the exhaust air from the spaces.

Brief Description: This newest Dallas ISD school is named for former governor Oran Milo Roberts. While currently in the submittable and pre-construction phase, this project is schedule to be completed in 2013.

Brief Description: Named for former DISD teacher Thelma Elizabeth Page Richardson, this project is scheduled for opening when school begins in 2013. As with all other new DISD schools in the 2008 Bond Program, Thelma Richardson Elementary will be heated and cooled by a geothermal heat pump system. Once again McMillan James has teamed up with Yarbrough Mechanical to supply ClimateMaster TR heat pumps for occupant comfort.

Brief Description: Named for Rev. Zan Wesley Holmes Jr., this new 192,000 square foot Middle School opened in the Fall of 2012. Among its myriad green technologies, the building utilizes a geothermal heat pump HVAC system. McMillan James teamed with Century Mechanical to provide airside components that included ConsERV energy recovery ventilators and ClimateMaster TS indoor units.
Owner: Plano ISD Engineer: Image Engineering Group General Contractor: Cadence McShane Mechanical Contractor: Yarbrough Mechanical Architect: SHW Group Products Used: ClimateMaster Water Source Heat Pumps (Model TR w/ ECM motors). Brief Description: For its first geothermal heat pump project, Plano ISD chose the renovation of Mitchell Elementary School. Taking place in the summer of 2012, the district renovated the entire school and added nearly 31,000 extra square feet. Yarbrough Mechanical installed 74 ClimateMaster TR heat pumps throughout the old and new portions of the school.
